I, _____________________________, understand that K-State First programs should provide support and services that help first-year students foster campus community and feelings of belonging, offer opportunities for diverse activities and interactions, raise academic expectations with engagement and compassion, and empower students with a strong sense of personal responsibility and social agency. I will work with students, faculty, and the K-State First team to promote a socially, culturally, and educationally enriching experience for students. It is important to note the responsibilities and expectations of the position vary depending on the nature of the K-State First course I work in along with the time of year and my supervisors’ additional expectations. I will have one K-State First supervisor who supports my overall experience and a faculty supervisor who supports my experience in the classroom.
