This Board of Arbitration is duly constituted and convened under the Hospital Labour Disputes Arbitration Act (“HLDAA”). It has been appointed to adjudicate upon the issues that remain in dispute between the parties in respect of the negotiation of a first collective agreement between them. The new OPSEU Office and Clerical bargaining unit was certified on February 18, 2014 as the result of an application under the Public Sector Labour Relations Transition Act, 1997 (PSLRTA). The parties are agreed that the term of this collective agreement will run for three years, commencing February 25, 2014, with an expiry date of March 31, 2017.
