The increase in our output and exports of coffee in recent years, particularly the very high level of exports reached in 1961, and the ambitious targets set in the Third Plan would lead one to expect that the pegging of exports to a particular level which is implied in our joining the International Coffee Agree• ment will adversely affect our coffee industry.
