Turning Point Specification for Needle & Syringe Programme ROAR Community Pharmacy Agreement (Part B) V1.0 March 2018
Community Pharmacy Agreement • August 20th, 2021

This document sets out a service specification for a community pharmacy ‘needle & syringe programme’ (NSP) to be provided by the contractor to service users across the Rochdale and Oldham Active Recovery (ROAR) Service. The practice is designed to reduce harm to people who inject drugs (PWID) and in turn reduce the prevalence of blood-borne viruses and bacterial infections. The safe disposal of used equipment will also benefit the wider community.
