WHEREAS, Broadwater County Commission (the County) is proposing to remove and demolish the existing historic Jefferson River Slough (Old Town West) Road Bridge (24W1177 / 24GA0833) A new 2-span bridge will be constructed, consisting of steel piles, concrete piers / abutments, and prestressed beams. The new bridge will be placed along the same alignment. Upon completion of the new bridge, rock riprap would be placed at each abutment. (USACE file number NWO-2024-00044- MT); and
