This Memorandum of Understanding ("Agreement"), dated December 11 , 2017 states the conditions under which the Sacramento City Unified School District (hereinafter referred to as "SCUSD" or "District") will exchange personally identifiable student information ("Data") with the University of California, Merced, Center for Educational Partnerships (hereinafter referred to as "UC Merced CEP"), t h e U n i v e r s i t y o f C a l i f o r n i a , D a v i s ( h e r e i n a f t e r r e f e r r e d t o a s “ U C D a v i s ) , the California State University, Sacramento (hereinafter referred to as "CSU S a c r a m e n t o "), and the L o s R i o s Community College District (hereinafter referred to as "LOS RIOS"), for the purpose of conducting studies and program evaluation in a manner consistent with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 ("FERPA") (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99) and the Privacy of Pupil Records provisions of the California Education Code (§ 49073 et seq.).
