The following model was established by the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region in execution of Article 218, §4 of the Brussels Housing Code. This is an indicative model and therefore not mandatory for the parties, who may choose a different model. To help the parties and to be comprehensive, it includes the clauses from the Brussels Housing Code and other provisions that are well known in practice and concern non-regulated subjects. To distinguish the clauses governed by a mandatory text from those that are purely indicative and which the parties can modify as they wish, the latter appear in grey in the text.
