Pursuant to Section 206 of the Federal Power Act (“FPA”), 16 U.S.C. § 824e, Part 35 of the regulations of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC” or “Commission”), 18 C.F.R. § 35, et seq., and Commission’s letter order issued on January 21, 2016,1 Southwest Power Pool, Inc. (“SPP”) submits for filing proposed revisions to the Joint Operating Agreement (“JOA”)2 between SPP and the Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc., (“MISO”) to comply with the January 21 Order. SPP and MISO hereby are submitting (by separate filings made contemporaneously) parallel JOA language to comply with the January 21 Order.
