This is a release and a binding agreement. Read it carefully before signing. This release essentially states that I know that I will be engaging in activities related to Hack the Future (Print Event Number) at the Lafayette Library & Learning Center, and I am doing so voluntarily. As a result of the inherent risks in this activity, I know I may be harmed, injured, or die and that my belongings may be lost, misplaced, damaged, or stolen. If any of these occur, I understand that I cannot make a claim, sue, or expect Hack the Future, the City of Lafayette, Contra Costa County Library, their elected officials, owners, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and/or associates (hereinafter referred to as “Hack the Future”, “City of Lafayette”, and “Contra Costa Library”) to be legally responsible or pay for any damages.
