In accordance with DOT Order 1050.2A, the KERR-TAR REGIONAL COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS assures the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) that no person shall, on the ground of race, color, national origin, sex, creed, age, or disability, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 and related nondiscrimination authorities, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination or retaliation under any program or activity undertaken by the Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments.
