The purpose of the Union University Foundation, LLC (the "Foundation") is to provide support for Union University. The Foundation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, or to carry out the purposes of Union University, an educational organization which normally maintains a regular faculty and curriculum and normally has a regularly enrolled body of pupils or students in attendance at the place where its educational activities are regularly carried on; and therefore, is operated exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Code. The mission and purpose of the Foundation is to provide support to Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, and shall include, but is not limited to, giving, conveying, or assigning any of its property to Union University or to other organizations for the benefit of Union University, provided that: (i) such organizations
