This Memorandum of Understanding (the "Memorandum") is made this day of June, 2022, by and between Up Your Arts, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, of P.O. Box 11326, Southport, North Carolina 28461 (hereinafter referred to as "Up Your Arts") and the City of Southport, North Carolina, of 1029 N. Howe St., Southport, North Carolina 28461 (hereinafter referred to as "City of Southport") for the purpose of further achieving the various aims and objectives relating to the Historic City Hall Community Arts Center (the "Project"), located at Davis and Moore streets, Southport, North Carolina 28461 (the “Property”).
