The County of Alameda (“County”) on behalf of the Alameda County Fire Department (“ACFD”) and the International Association of Firefighters (“IAFF”) Local 55A (“Local 55”) hereinafter referred to as the “Parties”, reached agreement to create three (3) new classifications and amend Appendix A of the 2022-2027 IAFF Local 55 Memoranda of Understanding to include the classification titles and salaries. In addition, the Parties agreed to update subsection 30.C. Probationary Period, to include the total probationary period for Firefighters who are initially appointed as a Firefighter Lateral.
