This Multi-Lateral Articulation Agreement in Exercise Science, a major in the Department of Health & Exercise Science, formally recognizes that Appalachian State University (Appalachian) and Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) are active collaborative educational partners, committed to providing greater access, options and educational opportunities and services for students between institutions. This commitment strongly supports the concepts of seamless articulation of transfer credit and assures that students from CCCC who complete the Associate in Applied Science degree in Health & Fitness Science with grades of “C” or better in all classes will receive up to 68 transfer credit hours toward the Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science at Appalachian. This program of study is available to students who intend to enroll either Fall or Spring and is effective beginning the fall 2019-2020 academic year.
