This Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into as of March 15, 2023 (the “Effective Date”) by and among Lake County Forest Preserve District, a body politic and corporate organized and existing under the Illinois Downstate Forest Preserve District Act, 70 ILCS 805/0.001 et seq. (the “Act”) (“Purchaser”) and Eric Pokorny, Successor Trustee of the Pokorny Family Trust, dated April 4, 1994 (“Seller”). In consideration of the recitals and agreements contained herein, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, Seller and Purchaser agree as follows:
