This is a Letter of Agreement for you to serve at Weill Cornell Medicine- Qatar (WCM-Q) as a Visiting Researcher/Guest Scientist on a short term, full time equivalent basis effective September 1, 2018 through Feb 27, 2019. Effective September 1, 2018, as a short term full time Visiting Researcher at WCM-Q, your duties will include participating in assignments related to research over the genetics of muscle and neuro-muscular disorders as well as hereditary spastic paraplegias disorders. This research is directed to study the genetics, genomics and clinical features of this group of neurological genetic disorders in Qatar. The work assignments is planned to include, but not limited to, the laboratory experiments and the handling of patient DNA, RNA and protein as needed, in order to verify and to investigate gene mutations related to these group of diseases as well as performing some bioinformatics or in-silico analysis. Writing manuscript draft and review articles are highly encouraged
