Contract Type FiledJune 17th, 2023 JurisdictionThe Texas month-to-month lease agreement often referred to as a “Tenancy at Will,” allows an individual to rent residential property without a specific end-date. In other words, the rental arrangement between the landlord and tenant will remain in perpetuity until either the lessor or lessee sends notice to terminate the agreement. All other aspects of this lease agreement are the same as any standard residential contract. Once a landlord has accepted an applicant as a tenant, they will present this document to sign. The agreement will be binding upon the landlord and tenant once both signatures have been inscribed. Rent Increase – No Statute regarding rent increase. Minimum Termination Notice (§ 91.001) – Statute only mentions that landlords and tenants may terminate a month-to-month tenancy by giving notice. Once notice has been given, the lease terminates on the day given in the notice or one (1) month after notice was given, whichever is later. Download (PDF, 106KB) A Texas month-t
