The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (“MSRB”) is the self-regulatory organization for the municipal securities market. MSRB rules require brokers, dealers and municipal securities dealers (collectively, “Dealers”) to report certain municipal securities transactions to the MSRB at the end of each trading day. MSRB intends to use this data, along with other information, to produce monthly reports showing transaction prices and related information (the "Comprehensive Transaction Reports").
