Cornwall Council has a number of separate Agency and other Agreements in place for town and Parish Councils to deliver and/or enhance services on behalf of Cornwall Council for the benefits of local residents. The existing ones include grass cutting of verges, planting in the highway and the Local Maintenance partnership. It is also keen to develop new ones. It is agreed that it would be prudent to combine the agreements under into one with a separate schedule of activity for each service element, in an attempt to reduce bureaucracy and to support long term business planning.
