The Fischler Academy is the flagship program at the NSU Abraham S. Fischler College of Education (FCE) and movement in both Higher Education and PK-12 designed to create and disseminate pedagogical strategies and resources developed through research and sharing of evidence-based teaching practices to provide a combined Bachelors/Masters degree program. This employs a multi- tiered approach focused on connecting research, development, and practice through mastery based courses and Sanford Inspire curriculum in alignment with PK-12 school districts. Additional pathways for Fischler Academy students include a $19,000 annual tuition scholarship, targeted support from colleges of education across the county, early immersion opportunities with PK-12 in-service teachers and educational leaders, a global experience, and a guaranteed job offer in one of Florida’s largest school districts.
