AgriKjøp is a joint purchasing organisation for the companies in the Federation of Norwegian Agricultural Co-operatives, consisting of around 100 different member companies, including subsidiaries. The contract is an extension to an existing framework agreement with Telenor. It includes greater standardisation and simplification of services provided, along with increased functionality for member companies. "AgriKjøp consists of a variety of different companies, from major industrial concerns to small companies, who have different needs and challenges. The new agreement gives the companies a simpler solution with a package of voice and data services, and also facilitates the use of other communications solutions from Telenor and their partners. At the same time, the agreement means less administration and reduced costs for our member companies," says Gunnar Vandvik, Director for Agreements and System Development at AgriKjøp AS.
