The economic interest of the Employer and its employees is better served through the express co-operation of the Employer, its employees and the Union. Close contact and a mutual sympathetic interest between the Employer and the employees will develop a better working system which will tend to constantly improve distribution, production and service, while improving the relationship between the Employer, the employees and the public. The parties agree that essential services are provided by the Employer and its employees which could prevent danger to life or safety, or serious property and environmental damage. As such, the parties have entered into this agreement to ensure that positive and harmonious relationships are fostered and maintained and that quality service is provided to the Employer’s customers.
