This PARTICIPATING AGREEMENT is hereby entered into by and between the County of Routt, and the County of Jackson, hereinafter referred to as “the Counties,” and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service, Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests and Thunder Basin National Grassland, hereinafter referred to as the “U.S. Forest Service,” under the authority: Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000, Public Law 106-393, 16 U.S.C. 500, as reauthorized and amended and Wyden Amendment (Public Law 105-277, Section 323 as amended by Public Law 109-54, Section 434, and permanently authorized by Public Law 111- 11, Section 3001).
