The possibility of transmission and contraction of COVID-19 are inherent risks when in close proximity to other humans and thus cannot be eliminated on Grand Canyon Youth (GCY) expeditions. However, these risks can be mitigated if everyone takes their personal role in the ongoing health of themselves, and others seriously. Everyone participating must accept and assume this risk.
