On December 31, 2020, the District’s delegation agreement authorizing the CLFLWD to operate a watercraft inspection program under the authority of the DNR expired. In order for the District to be authorized to continue operating a watercraft inspection program, a new delegation agreement must be executed. The DNR’s contract allows for applicants to renew their agreement for 1 to 3 years. Staff recommends extending the agreement until December 31, 2023, giving the District another 3 years to operate a watercraft inspection program.
