The Government of the Republic of Chile and the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden, desiring to intensify economic cooperation for mutual benefit of both countries and maintain fair and equal conditions for investments of investors of one Contracting Party in the territory of the other contracting party; recognizing that the reciprocal promotion and protection of foreign investment promotes the expansion of economic relations between the two Contracting Parties to stimulate investment initiatives, have agreed as follows:
