of January, 1963 and subject to renewal and extension as herein provided, between The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company, In corporated Scranton Unit, hereinafter referred to as the “Employer” and the Retail Clerks’ International Association, Locals 1687 and 1393, chartered by the Retail Clerks’ Inter national Association, AFL-CIO, hereinafter referred to as the “ Union”. This Agreement upon its execution thereof shall supersede all previous existing Agreements which have here tofore been applicable to the employees covered by this Agreement.
