The purpose of this Annex is to support Northrop Grumman's (or “NG”) evaluation of their sub-kilowatt Hall Current Thruster (HCT) through a 5,000-hour long duration wear test (LDWT) in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Glenn Research Center (GRC) Vacuum Facility 11 (VF11). The test will capture performance, electrical, and plume data over the duration of the test. The facility will periodically be vented (approximately every 1,000 hours) to collect pole cover wear measurements and imagery.
