Ordered, That at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2007, the Senate proceed to executive session to consider the nomination of Jim Nussle, of Iowa, to be Director of the Office of Management and Budget; provided further, that there be three hours for debate with two hours equally divided between the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget and the Ranking Member and one hour under the control of the Senator from Vermont (Mr. Sanders); provided further, that at the conclusion, or yielding back of time, the Senate vote on confirmation of the nomination; that the motion to reconsider be laid on the table; the President be immediately notified of the Senate's action and the Senate return to legislative session.
