MHP MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING TEMPLATEJune 5th, 2024
This Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) is entered into by Santa Cruz-Monterey- Merced-San Benito-Mariposa Managed Medical Care Commission, a California public entity, operating as Central California Alliance for Health (“MCP”) and County of Mariposa Behavioral Health (“MHP”), effective as of January 1, 2024 (“Effective Date”). Carelon Behavioral Health of California (MCP relevant Subcontractor) acts as a delegate and as such, has responsibilities related to effectuating this MOU to a Knox-Keene licensed health care service plan(s), Carelon Behavioral Health of California, Inc. must be added as an express party to this MOU and named in this MOU as having the responsibilities set forth herein that are applicable to this MCP relevant Subcontractor. MHP, MCP, and MCP’s relevant Subcontractors and/or Downstream Subcontractors may be referred to herein as a “Party” and collectively as “Parties.”
