The Portfolio’s Board of Trustees approved the renewal of the Portfolio’s investment management agreement (the “Portfolio Agreement”) with DWS Investment Management Americas, Inc. (“DIMA”) and the sub-advisory agreement (the “Sub-Advisory Agreement”) between DIMA and Northern Trust Investments, Inc. (“NTI”), and the Fund’s Board of Trustees (which consists of the same members as the Board of Trustees of the Portfolio) approved the renewal of the Fund’s investment management agreement with DIMA (the “Fund Agreement” and together with the Portfolio Agreement and the Sub- Advisory Agreement, the “Agreements”) in September 2020.
