The purpose of this Agreement is to promote and maintain a harmonious relationship between the Employer and all employees covered by this Agreement with mutual respect between the Employer and the Union, to set forth terms and conditions of employment for all such employees with an amicable method of settling grievances or differences which may from time to time arise and to provide for the carrying on of the business under methods which will further the well being of employees, together with efficiency and quality of operation, in order to ensure for the community a high standard of emergency health care.
