Appointing Authority - The term "appointing authority" shall mean the administration of the University of Massachusetts. Association - the term "association" shall mean the University Staff Association/Massachusetts Teachers Association. Board - the term "Board" shall mean the Board of Trustees of the University of Massachusetts. Chief Executive Officer of the Campus - The term "Chief Executive Officer of the Campus" shall mean the Chancellor of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, or designee. Day - Except as is otherwise provided in this Agreement, the term "day" shall mean a calendar day inclusive of Saturday, Sunday, a skeleton day or any of the holidays enumerated in Article 12 of this Agreement.
