BARRY C. SAMUEL, DIRECTORLease Agreement • December 15th, 2024
Contract Type FiledDecember 15th, 2024On March 18, 1997 your Board approved a lease agreement with the California Conservation Corps (CCC) for the use of the rear house at Pinto Lake County Park. That lease allowed for the vacant house to be used as a training and administrative facility for the California Conservation Corps. In return the Department of Parks, Open Space and Cultural Services receives 1500 hours annually in labor to maintain Pinto Lake County Park. Additionally, the CCC has provided work crews at various sites throughout the County including the Polo Grounds County Park, Ben Lomond Park and the North Coast. The Parks Department has been very pleased with the existing lease agreement and was recently contacted by the CCC to provide space at Highlands County Park so another non-residential crew training facility could be developed.
