The Government of the People´s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Government of the Kingdom of Spain, desiring to conclude a Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital, have agreed as follows:

This document was signed in Santiago, on 2 of April 2008, and was published in the official gazette on 6 of August 2010. The Convention entered into force on 5 of May 2010 and its provisions shall have effect in respect of taxes on income obtained and amount paid, credited to an account, put at the disposal or accounted as an expense, on or after the first day of January 2011.
