THIS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (“MOU”) is entered into by and between the National Park Service (“NPS”), an agency of the U.S. Department of the Interior, acting by and through the Superintendent of the George Washington Memorial Parkway (“GWMP”), and the County Board of Arlington County, Virginia (“Arlington County”). Throughout this MOU the NPS and Arlington County may each be referred to as a “party,” and may be referred to jointly as the “parties.” This MOU governs the implementation of the Bikeshare System (“Bikeshare”) on the Arlington County portion of the GWMP which is administered by the NPS through the Superintendent of the GWMP.
