There has been established within the Employment and Training Administration of the United States Department of Labor a program known and described as the "WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT OF 2014", hereinafter referred to as the ACT, which provides, among other things, an employment and training activity known and described as "WORK EXPERIENCE". "WORK EXPERIENCE" is a short-term work assignment to enhance the employability of persons who have never worked or have not recently worked by providing experience on a job, developing occupational skills, promoting good work habits, and developing specific occupational goals through job sampling.
