WHEREAS it is the desire of both parties of this Agreement to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships between the Centre, the employees and the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada, to recognize a mutual obligation to provide the best possible quality of health care through the successful operation of Deer Lodge Centre as a service institution, to set forth terms and conditions of employment and general working conditions affecting employees covered by this Agreement, to provide for the prompt and equitable disposition of grievances, and to recognize the value of joint discussion and negotiation in matters related to working conditions.
