The Scott Creek Stewardship Contract is located in Price County, WI, T37N, R3E, Sections 25, 26, 35, & 36. The Forest Service will be accepting sealed bids at the Medford-Park Falls Ranger District, 1170 4th Ave S, Park Falls, WI 54552 at 11:00 AM local time on 02/27/2018 for an estimated volume of 16 CCF of Mixed Conifer sawtimber, 663 CCF of Mixed Hardwood sawtimber, 493 CCF of Aspen pulpwood, 330 CCF of Mixed Conifer pulpwood, and 3,097 CCF of Mixed Hardwood pulpwood marked for cutting. In addition, there are estimated quantities of 347 acres of Canopy Gap Site Prep and 14 acres of Mechanical Site Prep identified as a Mandatory Stewardship Service Item that must be performed under the contract. Bid for sawtimber, pulpwood, and service items will be at fixed rates and must be accompanied with a technical proposal. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
