MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN MONROVIA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT (MUSD)October 9th, 2020
The Monrovia Unified School District (“District”) and Monrovia Teachers Association (MTA), collectively referred to hereinafter as “the parties” enter into this Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) regarding the start of school in a 100% Distance Learning Model. It sets forth the protocol and terms that the District and MTA have agreed upon to govern working conditions for MTA bargaining unit members due to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Unless otherwise noted below, the provisions of this MOU shall supersede any provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Parties that are in conflict for the duration of this MOU, or until modified by mutual agreement of the District and the Association. The Parties affirm the obligation to comply with all provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) not in conflict with this MOU. Further, the Parties affirm that all provisions of the Educational Employment Relations Act (EERA) California Government Codes 3540 et.seq.
