Where Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Supplemental Specifications, Special Provisions and Special Provision Copied Notes are used in this contract, the references therein to “the Specifications” shall refer to the Virginia Department of Transportation Road and Bridge Specifications, dated 2020. References to the “Road and Bridge Standards” shall refer to the Virginia Department of Transportation Road and Bridge Standards, dated 2016 with revisions issued online as of the advertisement date for this project incorporated. References to the “Virginia Work Area Protection Manual” shall refer to the 2011 edition of the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual with Revision Number 2 incorporated, dated September 1, 2019. References to the “MUTCD” shall refer to the 2009 edition of the MUTCD with Revision Numbers 1 and 2 incorporated, dated May 2012; and the 2011 edition of the Virginia Supplementto the MUTCD with Revision Number 1 dated September 30, 2013.
