Contract Type FiledJuly 2nd, 2024Under the terms of a Memorandum of Understanding, The College of Westchester (CW) agrees to provide classroom-based, credit-bearing instruction to parents of students currently enrolled in the Roosevelt High School Early College Studies Program. Under the terms of this agreement, parents will be eligible to enroll in CW’s Fall 2 Term course MSC103-Medical Terminology and the Spring 1 Term course MSC110-Human Biology leading towards, (i) a four-course sequence preparing them for the National Certification Exam in Medical Billing and Coding or, (ii) a five-course sequence preparing them for National Certification as an EKG Technician. Under provisions of the Persistently Struggling Schools Grant (PSSG) to RHS-ECS and $20,000 payable to CW, there will be no charge to RHS-ECS parents for the enrollment of up to 8 participants these initial two courses.
