(“Local Government”), each a “Party” and collectively the "Parties,” enter into the following contract to submit data to the state syndromic surveillance system, assess and control the quality of data, recruit new hospitals, and train the users in Region 2/3 to use syndromic surveillance and be aware of possible outbreaks of illness (the “Contract”) pursuant to the provisions of the “Interlocal Cooperation Act,” Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code.
