The lease agreement is a contract between you and your tenant with the conditions for their stay in your property. Should the lease be in writing? It is best for you and your tenant to have a written lease agreement, so you both know exactly what your rights and responsibilities are. However, even if you only have an oral agreement, you and your tenant will have the rights and obligations under the law. What should the lease include?
