In the course of the 2021 Bundestag elections, Alliance 90/The Greens, the SPD and FDP agreed on the coalition agreement for the 20th legislative period of the Bundestag. Based on the votes of this so-called traffic light coalition, Olaf Schulz was elected Chancellor of the 24th Federal Government of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2021. The photo shows a close-up of the coalition agreement between the three parties entitled “Daring to Make More Progress. Alliance for Freedom, Justice and Sustainability.” Although not legally binding, a coalition agreement is an important working basis in which the coalition partners define, among other things, the priorities for the upcoming legislative period.
