Plaintiff Linda Stanley (“Plaintiff”) and Defendant Direct Energy Services, LLC (“Direct Energy”) enter into this Settlement Agreement (“Agreement”) as of this July 19, 2021. Plaintiff and Direct Energy are collectively referred to herein as the “Parties” and, individually, as “Party.” Capitalized terms used herein are defined in Section II of this Agreement or indicated in parentheses elsewhere in this Agreement. Subject to the Court’s approval, the Parties hereby stipulate and agree that, in consideration for the promises and covenants set forth in the Settlement and upon the entry by the Court of a Final Approval Order and the occurrence of the Effective Date, Stanley v. Direct Energy will be settled and compromised upon the terms and conditions contained herein.
