Joyce Moody is requesting approval of an annexation agreement for property she owns at 1401 East Perkins Road. The property consists of approximately 0.30 acres and is currently occupied by a two-car garage and two sheds. (See Exhibit A) The petitioner is proposing to construct a single-family home on the property. The property has previously been used for single-family purposes. In January of this year a single-family home on the property was destroyed by fire. The surrounding properties to the south, east and west are also used for residential purposes.
