This signature is based on the strong conviction shared by all partners that an enforcement of cooperation in the FABEC is feasible and necessary to create a more efficient air navigation system in the heart of Europe. The promising results of the FABEC Feasibility Study Report completed in summer 2008 have justified its overall value in terms of operational, technical and financial benefits. As a first step, and in accordance with the signing of the Declaration of Intent by the 6 States located in the heart of Europe, the ANSP Agreement sets up a framework for cooperation to progressively develop and facilitate the implementation and operation of FABEC. The approval of the agreement is subject of the respective boards.
