Utility Service Agreement to Extend Water and Wastewater Service along North WildernessUtility Service Agreement • January 30th, 2023 • Florida
St. Johns County Utility Department staff has completed a cost estimate to extend service from Canal Boulevard to the northern property line of 541 N Wilderness Trail in response to several requests for potable water and wastewater services from residents living along this area. As required by Section 5 of the St. Johns County Utility Ordinance (Ord No. 2022-37), staff has prepared a template Utility Service Agreement (attached) that provides for each property owner in the project area to pay their proportional share of the cost of the line extension project. Execution of the agreement and payment of the proportional share will be a condition for all properties connecting to the project in the future in order for the County to recover the costs of the project over time. Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the template Utility Service Agreement for use for this project and authorize the Utility Department accept payments pursuant to executed agreements and to
