This Annex shall be for the purpose of research and collaboration between Microsoft Corporation and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to address the need for data discovery, access, and use of high-value NASA science datasets. NASA and Microsoft plan to collaborate on common research problems to explore new opportunities in cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies that enable NASA's research vision to enable and accelerate open science.
